Monthly Meetings
The club meets every first Tuesday of the month. The meetings begin at 7 pm and last until 9 or 9:30 pm. Visitors are always welcome. Meetings are held at the First Presbyterian Church at 6th and Lincoln in Bloomington. Parking is in back of the church with access from 7th St. The meeting room is reached by the entrance off the parking lot.
In general, meetings begin with announcements and a short discussion of the latest information on upcoming events. The rest of the meeting is reserved for the main program, which is either a speaker or a themed photo share. Images can be shared either digitally with the club's projector, or as prints.
Some monthly meetings will also include a short "Tech Tip" -- information and/or demonstrations of techniques, photographic equipment, or other subjects likely to be of interest to photographers.
Photo Share Guidelines (for digital images):
- Select up to 6 images.
- Size your images so that their longest edges do not exceed 1,000 pixels.
- Save images as JPG files, using the sRGB color profile (for optimum color display on club equipment).
- Save your images in a folder with your name on it.
- Submit your images, if at all possible, on a flash drive, with your name on that also.
- Arrive at the meeting a few minutes early, to allow time for your images to be loaded into the computer before the start of the meeting.
