BPC Focus Groups Exhibit
June 2026
BPC Focus Groups Exhibit | June 2026 – Closed for Entries
The Creative Techniques, Film Users Group, Portrait, and SPUDS focus groups will present a collaborative exhibit at the Monroe Convention Center (302 S. College Avenue). The exhibition will be on view from June 1 through June 29.
Each group brings a distinct perspective and dedication to the photographic medium:
Creative Techniques explores experimental and artistic approaches to photography and videography, including collage, multiple exposure, and digital manipulation while continuing to push the boundaries of visual expression.
Film Users Group (FUG) celebrates film-based photography and its unique qualities, embracing a thoughtful, process-driven approach that honors both tradition and craft across photographic practices.
Portrait Focus Group centers on capturing people, refining portrait techniques, posing, and composition while fostering growth through shared practice and intentional study.
Street/Photojournalism/Urban/Documentary/Sports (SPUDS) highlights real-world storytelling from candid street moments to structured photojournalism, urban landscapes, documentary work, and dynamic sports imagery by capturing decisive moments with clarity and purpose.
Please join us for the opening reception on June 5 from 5:00–8:00 PM for an evening that celebrates the artistry, vision, and dedication of these photographers. It is an opportunity to engage with work shaped by craft, intention, and a deep commitment to the photographic medium.
