Adobe Lightroom Classic (LrC) for Beginners

The BPC Adobe Lightroom Classic (LrC) for Beginners Training Program is intended to provide you with the basics to get started using Adobe LrC.  You’ll be able to experience hands-on lessons with clear demonstrations and in-person support. No experience required. 

The BPC Adobe Lightroom Classic (LrC) for Beginners Training Program is designed to provide the beginning user:

  • The ability to establish a catalog of your photos and organize them within Lightroom

  • Tools in rating and culling images within the Lightroom environment

  • How to utilize and navigate the Library module within Lightroom

  • How to use the Develop module within Lightroom to perform non-destructive edits of your images through:

    • Basic exposure adjustments

    • Cropping and transforming 

    • Adjusting color balance and use color creatively

    • Remove elements in an image

    • Use masks to perform adjustments to specific areas of an image

  • An understanding of AI features in Lightroom

  • How to export images for their final use (screen/web/or print)

 

Class will be held at the Southwest Monroe County Public Library and via Zoom, in four sessions:

  • Sunday, March 15, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

  • Sunday, March 22, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

  • Sunday, April 12, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

  • Sunday, April 19, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
