Based in West Lafayette, Jen Ritchie is a wildlife photographer, specializing in the Mountain West and Indiana. Her images from Wyoming, Colorado, Alaska, and Banff showcase the creatures, big and small, that make our wild spaces so special. She is also the host of the Wildlife Conversations podcast where she interviews wildlife photographers, conservationists, and guides from around the world. Locally, you will find her photographing the Celery Bog Nature Area and Prophetstown State Park plus running her own portrait business. Jen believes a great wildlife photo is more than being perfectly sharp, and she will share her journey to photography and tips to bring magic to our wildlife images.
We are planning to conduct our monthly Bloomington Photography Club Meeting as a hybrid meeting. We will be meeting at 7:00 pm in person in the Chapel Room of the Bell Trace Retirement Community, 800 Bell Trace Court, Bloomington, IN. The Chapel Room is in the main building at Bell Trace. From the main entrance take the elevator to the basement; the room is about 30 feet straight ahead. It is next to the Commons Room where we have our holiday party. The meeting is open to all members and non-members.
